anhyoung haseyo! so after arriving into seoul late in the evening on friday... then getting lost trying to find our hotel we were lucky enough to come across a super friendly guy dressed in kdrama fashion, who helped lead the way even with the language barrier. the following morning we woke up super early... jet laggy. then headed out in the area of myeongdong where our hotel was... and came across a fan signing for one of the main guys from Boys Before Flowers.. the fans were already lining up in the cold.. (later that day, i did manage to score an autograph mini poster that they were passing out after the signing was done, at the time i had no idea who he was) we then noticed none of the stores were open and headed to gyeongbok palace the sun came out and it turned out to be a gorgeous day.. gyeongbokgung was a site to see... it's the largest palace in seoul.. a city with multiple palaces surrounded by skyscrapers.. afterwards we headed back towards myeongdong...
This is where the hungry come to feed. For mine is a generation that circles the globe and searches for something we haven't tried before. So never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never fail to be polite and never outstay the welcome. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it.
