tshirt haxx.
the dilemma. forced work shirt attire for company promotional outing.
first of all, normal tshirts make me look like i'm 13. and second, why do these sort of tshirts almost always come in size large and above? though i was able to score a coveted size "small", i decided to go ahead and attempt my first full tshirt modification on a large (which we had an abundance of at work). after finding some inspiration, i spent about 2 hours friday night hacking away and stitching it back together again. i ended up reversing the front and the back.. and turning it into a vneck, racerback type tank, and was pretty proud of the results...
of course rocking a work shirt is still hard.. even with the haxx. so i went a route so unlike me.. and sorta london punk.
and since i tend to go in spurts with my "creativity" i haxxed my planet zero tshirt, to a racerback tank.. and added the hood and kangaroo pocket.

ZOMGWTFBBQ!!!11
so we finally bought T a bbq. It may not be the fanciest bbq, but it'll do just fine for us. i mean i've never really bbq'd much, and i haven't really seen T do it much either. but with our backyard setup, it sure seemed like a mandatory acquisition.
last night i put it together, while T prepared dinner (he's not really the greatest at building things.. well not as great as me anyways). the instructions said it would take an hour to build... it was daylight when i started, and as you can see in the photo, the sun had set by the time i finished (2 hrs later, during which i should've been calling for a cold beer or something). so maybe since i'm kind of half the size of a normal person, it took me double the time to make it. or perhaps because the instructions suggested having 2 people build it. and this morning i woke up with a sore forearm, i guess i should've used the power drill... anyways now since i built it, i'll be expecting yummy grilled foods on a regular basis.

anime matsuri 08
anime matsuri. this past weekend me and T, and me and Dru (+ dru's bro) went to the local anime convention known as anime matsuri. it was it's second year in production, and i think it went off much better than last years ..although i missed the concert this year.. (T_T)
anyways.. i was really wanting to dress up this year.. and well the weekend before the con i finally decided what me and dru could dress up as (he was forced to cosplay) feeling slightly feisty this year with all my working out for the marathon and closing in on 30, i decided to show more skin than i ever really show. we ended up going as Talho and Holland from Eureka 7, i looked them up because Nirigilis the japanese headliner band has a song in that anime. I made my outfit in a matter of days.. plus the bootcovers and belt.. all handmade. and i sewed on the white patches onto dru's jacket. i'm pretty proud of the outcome.. considering i've never really made clothes before.
me and T went on friday (i wore the infamous roo suit.. so i went from completely covered on friday.. to my mini skirt and halter on saturday), to look around and see the import car show, where i just so happened to see people that i knew from way back.. who were showing cars at that time.. of course they've moved on up from sup-ing up civics to now sup-ing up 300s, bmw's, and having lamborghini's and bentley's in their crew. but pretty much with the dj and the car models, it was just so 1999.
saturday was the day of the up and down. the most memorable moment was some guy coming up to me saying his friends were trying to guess my age... so i in turn asked him how old he thought i was.. his answer, 16. i laughed, my brother laughed, and so did dru and his brother.. so i said. no... i'm 27. i've never seen someone run away so fast.

it's my parteee........
saturday night i hosted our annual christmas party for our group of friends aka omgbff. i pretty much started prepping for the party from the moment i woke up at 9am up until the party in which the first guests began to arrive shortly after 7:30. but had started making gifts for everyone the week before thanksgiving, so i had been looking forward to the party for sometime now. the hor'derve menu consisted of: smoked salmon tartare filled cucumber cups, escargot stuffed mushroom caps herbed garlic butter, roasted red pepper hummus, beef meatballs with a pineapple dipping sauce, herbed goat cheese balls on toast points, 'firecrackers' and cheeses. guests also brought a plethora of good foods for everyone to nosh on. oh and of course we had plenty of wine to drink.
i only took a few photos.. so expect more when dru gets around to it.

oops i rasterbated.
saturday. me and roz had 'date night' full of shopping, dinner & wine, kdrama, and rasterbating. yes you heard me right. anyways, dru was supposed to join us for at least one of the above activities, but he ended up just driving to dinner with us. as payback for leaving us girls to dine alone as he partied with friends not us, we wanted to make sure at least his home new where his heart was. what better way than to rasterbate all over his wall. the rasterbator, is an amazing tool that creates an enlarged rasterized image from any picture. i mean huge, like wall size. my 8 sheet dru photo is minuscule in comparison to what it can do. the images come out so that up close they are not so clear, but from a few feet away it's perfect. me and roz enjoyed rasterbating together, and you will too! so go home and rasterbate all over your walls.
