This is where the hungry come to feed. For mine is a generation that circles the globe and searches for something we haven't tried before. So never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never fail to be polite and never outstay the welcome. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it.

cheers!

we've returned from our 2 week holiday, and i am quite exhausted and a little bit sick. (caught a cold on our final day.. possibly the best time to get sick on a trip) which is probably a good thing, since i'm resting in bed on this memorial day.. and actually working on uploading photos on a timely basis. lucky you. of course i'll go in chronological order and instead of city by city like last years euro trip.. i think i'll do a day by day log. so here goes Day 1..

jetlagged

we left town on may 9, and what seems like will be tradition, we ate at the pappadeaux in terminal e and i had a bloody mary before boarding (just like last year). i watched both juno and lars and the real girl on the way there before my benedryl finally kicked in a little.. and we made it to london on saturday morning.

LondonPub

after a groggy arrival we headed to T's sister's flat to freshen up before heading out for lunch with the family at a local pub and then a stroll through a park.

Flowers

ParkDay

On the way to the park we passed by a bakery and i saw the following cake, which would be absolutely perfect for a few ladies i know.

LV Cake

we rested the rest of the evening since we were all headed to croatia the following day.
