chocolate chipotle cupcakes topped with powdered sugar and cinnamon..
and since i pureed the entire can of chipotle peppers.. so much chipotle to use...
so dinner the day was chipotle grilled pork loin...
butterflied the pork loin slices and pounded them out... then marinated them in a combination of garlic, chipotle puree, brown sugar, and salt/pepper. served on mashed potatoes with a side of homemade pico.

the OG BFFS outside the okinomiyaki restaurant that we ate at for our 'last dinner' so very delicious.
then we headed to yoyogi park.. to see the park at night.
on the last day we managed to get to the tokyo metropolitan gov't building to see the free views.
i heart you tokyo... thanks for everything!!!!
we were lucky enough to be in town during peak cherry blossom season in tokyo... it was such a great sight to see.. and especially when the wind would blow.. although they were a lot less pink than i would have imagined..
spent the last full day doing the tourist thing by visiting meiji shrine and yoyogi park.. a day full of great weather.. and more walking :)
